Columbia Basin Helicopters, Inc. owns and operates three (3) Bell UH1H helicopters. All three (3) aircraft have had several performance enhancing modifications made to them which allows them to perform well at higher density altitudes. The helicopters are left seat certified with gauges within the bubble door that allow the pilot good visibility of the external load. We are able to lift up to 4,000 pounds under specific conditions.
Columbia Basin pilots are production orientated and USFS long line certified.
Columbia Basin Helicopters, Inc. is capable of performing precision lift services with a 100 or 250 foot synthetic long lines. We have set poles and cross arms for the power line industry, removed and set heating and airconditioners, flown concrete and gravel with an aluminum bucket, and set bridge beams.
